If you love super chunky, and easy then you'll love this one. The yarn I used was Lion Band Yarn Hometown USA in the color Chicago Charcoal. Now, this yarn started out as an U.F.O. It was going to be a small rug for my son's room but found it was taking way too much yarn and was taking forever for me to finish. Don't get me wrong, it was turning out great. But I decided that I could make better use for it. My son wasn't all that impressed with it. I think that was the real reason. So, I frogged it.
I used a big hook size P and about three skeins of yarn.
Chain 84 or any size you want. This is totally customizable. Now HDC in the second chain from the hook. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 1: HDC in the back loops to the end. Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: Repeat row 1 until you have your desired height and finish off keeping a long tail. You can leave it as is and wear it as a scarf, but I like cowls, so I stitched the ends together with my long tail as evenly as possible. Voila! I love it. It is so cozy.
