I'm back with CHICKEN DIABLE RECIPE!

Hello all. I'm back! I'm so sorry about my absence from my blog.  Getting used to this new media is a little difficult to get used to.  Well, not difficult, just different.   I'm much more active on Instagram but I will make much more of an effort to keep up to date here on Londie's Handmade Crochet.  There is always something I want to share.

At the moment I would love to share a recipe I have made for my family for sometime now and they love it.  It's not my own recipe.  It is a recipe my mother used to make a long time ago and it is a dish I make repeatedly for my family.

This dish is Chicken Diable or Deviled Chicken. It is easy and super delicious. 


Yum right? I just dug right in before I could take a picture.  Since it was just me and my two sons for dinner, I halved the recipe and used chicken thighs.  I think the thighs are more juicy and more flavorful, but you can use whatever chicken pieces you like.  I will give you what the recipe calls for.  Here it is...

1 broiler-fryer (about 3 pounds), cut up
4 Tbs. (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. curry powder( I used McCormick Hot Madras Curry Powder-not hot at all)





1. Rinse chicken pieces; pat dry; remove skin, if you wish.

2. Melt the butter in a shallow baking pan; stir in remaining ingredients.  Roll the chicken in the             butter mixture to coat both sides; then arrange them meaty side up in a single layer in the same           pan.

3. Bake in a moderate oven (375*) for 1 hour, or until the chicken is no longer pink and is beautifully 
    glazed. 

We had this with a simple salad and my boys loved it!
